Three Wise Monkeys
This site is not a feed. It will not optimize your experience. It will not ask you to subscribe. It will not reward your attention.
Choose a monkey. Each page is a different kind of refusal.
Design notes
Everything is intentional: friction, delay, redaction, and refusal. The UI behaves like the world it critiques.
Tip: Use this as a base, then swap in your own text, images, and symbols.
SEE NO EVIL
The modern eye is trained to scroll. Not to notice. Not to understand. Information becomes decoration. Outrage becomes wallpaper.
Drag panels. Notice how quickly meaning turns into clutter.
What this page is doing
It manufactures “too much” so your brain reaches for the fastest coping strategy: not seeing.
HEAR NO EVIL
The world is loud. The timeline is louder. Listening is slower, so it’s treated like a luxury. Noise becomes proof. Silence becomes suspicion.
What this page is doing
It replaces understanding with constant commentary. You can mute it. The discourse continues anyway.
SPEAK NO EVIL
Speak carefully. Speak correctly. Speak in approved shapes. The safest sentence is the one that says nothing and still gets applause.
So we pre-redact ourselves, smiling while we disappear.
What this page is doing
It makes censorship feel like etiquette, and self-erasure feel like “safety”.
QUIET
If you refuse to see, refuse to hear, and refuse to speak, what exactly survives?
Not the world. Not the truth. Just the machine, humming politely in the background.
Built as a base. Replace text with your own thesis. Add imagery you own. Tighten the symbolism.
